Hello you! Have you ever seen a vintage car on the streets? These are really old cars and they usually look different from modern ones. Today I’m going to tell you about an vintage Porsche. To be more precise, the very first Porsche! Read on to find out more about it.

The Porsche 356 “No. 1” Roadster was built in 1948. It is the first car with the Porsche name. This sports car is the cornerstone for Porsche at that time. The company then became really successful with the 911. As you can see, it is a very important car for the history and development of Porsche.

Our number 1 drives up to 135 km/h. That’s really fast for that time! This car is very important to Ferry Porsche, the son of Ferdinand Porsche. Because together with his team, he builds his dream car himself, because he can’t find it anywhere at the time.

The “No. 1” of the Porsche 356 Roadster is silver-coloured and has red leather seats. By 1965, over 75,000 of the 356 are built. Some of them look quite different. The car is available closed as a coupe or as a convertible. From 1948 to 1965, this Porsche sports car is constantly being developed and revised.

Have you ever seen a Porsche 356? Next week we’ll continue with Tina’s childhood dreams. See you then!

Yours, Tom
