Hello Porsche fan! Not long ago, Tina’s blog was about the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. Today it continues in a sporty way! Because alongside motorsport, Porsche is is not only active in tennis, but also in golf. Have you ever heard of the golf tournament, the Porsche European Open?
Porsche has been the title sponsor of the Porsche European Open, which takes place in Hamburg in northern Germany, since 2015. The tournament is one of the most famous and traditional golf events of the DP World Tour. The best golfers from all over the world come to Hamburg for this event.
The golf course in Hamburg – the Porsche North Course – is considered one of the most challenging and spectacular in Europe. This is bevause it is one of the longest courses in the world and also has water obstacles on 17 of the 18 holes. Some even compare it to the Nordschleife on the Nürburgring! This is one of the most difficult race tracks worldwide.
When I’m not behind the wheel of a Porsche, I play a round of golf every no wand then! However, I also like to try out new things. Do you know football golf? You try to get a soccer ball to the target with as few shots as possible. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
