Hello! Today I’m taking you to the Porsche site in Leipzig. The Porsche Macan and the Porsche Panamera are built there. Furthermore, there are great test tracks, where I am often on the road as a test driver. And even animals live and work there. Curious? Then read on!

The Porsche factory in Leipzig was built in 2000. Today the Porsche Macan and Panamera models are built here. In the body shop, the shell of the car is created. In the paint shop and the assembly, the Porsche is then completed. There is even a training centre. Just in case you want to work at Porsche later.

In addition to the factory, there are two test tracks: On the Porsche on-road circuit, you can drive on famous sections of race tracks, for example from the Nürburgring in Germany or Monza in Italy. And the Porsche off-road track takes you off the road, through water and over gravel. Cool, isn’t it?

And on top of that, the off-road track leads across pastures right through the home of 75 aurochs and 25 exmoor ponies. They work here as natural lawnmowers. Clever, isn’t it? And there are 3 million bees here too! They are important for our environment and make the delicious Turbienchen honey.

Come and visit me on the test track in Leipzig! By the way, next week Tina will tell you all about the winter wonder at Porsche 4Kids. See you soon!

Yours, Tom

At the ‘Porsche Safari’ you can experience the flora and fauna on the off-road site live. Here you can find more information about it.
