What’s up
17th September 2021 l For Designers l 2-3 minutes

Hi Porsche Fan! It’s good to have you back. Today I’m introducing you to a very special event: The first digital Porsche Sound Night will take place on 18th September at 5 p.m. worldwide in German, English and French. Read on to find out what’s going on!

Under the slogan ‘Next Level’, you can listen live on the Internet to the typical Porsche engine sounds of various racing and production cars. The special thing about these sports cars is that they were all really successful on the racetracks or still are.

In addition to sound artists, the former and active racing drivers Walter Röhrl, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Timo Bernhard and Pascal Wehrlein will be there. Do you want to meet them too? The four of them will show you the great sounds and unmistakable tones of many Porsche models!

Can you believe that Porsche employs special sound designers? They take care of the perfect engine sound. There are special rooms for this purpose. Their walls absorb the sound so that no background noise occurs. So the sound designers really only hear the sound they are working on. Cool, isn’t it?

You or your parents can find more information on soundnacht.porsche.de/en or on the museum’s homepage at https://www.porsche.com/germany/aboutporsche/porschemuseum/events/. I can’t wait to hear how you like the Sound Night. I’m going to be there and I’m really looking forward to it!

Yours, Tina

The Porsche Museum has something for your ears with ‘Porsche in the Mix’. Visitors can experience cool engine sounds at three sound showers and even make their own piece of music from them.
