Hi you! What do you eat between meals? What do you take to school? Today we’re talking about your lunch and snacks. In this blog I’ll tell you how snacks give you the most energy and which ones I think are the best.

Here’s my most important tip for you: The more often you eat snacks without sugar and skip fast food, the better for you and your body. That way you stay fit and smart like Tom. There are really tasty alternatives! Instead of sweets or chips, you can eat fruit or vegetables. Nuts are also great snacks!

Did you know that nuts are real powerhouses? They are not only healthy, but also great for your brain. They also taste delicious and give you extra energy! There are many different kinds. The best thing is to try them out. I especially like cashews and walnuts. What are your favourites?

I also like bananas and apples as snacks because they are easy to take with you. They already have their packaging with them! Clever, isn’t it? And when it comes to vegetables, I like to cut carrots and peppers into small pieces. That’s also great for snacking! Which fruits and vegetables could you take with you more often?

Think about it and start packing some real power snacks for school, sports or trips. Do you have any other ideas? By the way Tom likes homemade cereal without sugar, even when he’s on the go. See you next week!

Yours, Tina

Did you know?
Did you already know? Put your snacks in a reusable container, such as a stainless steel can. They stay fresh and you save on plastic bags and foil. You’ll be doing twice good – for yourself and the environment!
