A warm welcome to you, dear Porsche fan! Today is the International Day of People with Disabilities. And that’s what my blog post is all about. I’ll show you exactly what this day stands for and why it is so important.

The International Day of People with Disabilities has existed since 1993, that is for 28 years. The day is meant to help people with disabilities feel part of society. Sometimes you still have to draw attention to this topic. It would be better if, we all took it for granted.

Inclusion plays an important role so that all people can have the same rights and opportunities. This means that we accept all people and we can go to school or work together and have common hobbies. Every person can participate equally in life.

And we can all do something for that! For example, I learned a few gestures of sign language. You can watch it here. That’s how I can talk to deaf people. Think about what you can and would like to do!

I hope you enjoyed my blog! Next week, Tina will tell you more about the most famous Porsche, the Porsche 911. See you then!

Yours, Tom

Did you know?
Sign language is different in every country. And there are different dialects. That means deaf people use different signs for the same words.
