Hi you! It’s good to have you back. Today, the team comes first. I’ll tell you why team spirit is so important, where you can feel it everywhere at Porsche and, above all, why Tom and I make a great team.
Have you ever heard of the quote ‘You can be strong by yourself, but together you’ll be invincible’? It’s one of my favourite sayings, because I think it’s absolutely true! Of course you can achieve a lot on your own, but as a team it’s usually easier and you achieve even greater goals. At Porsche, team spirit is also really important and a big factor in success.
In the Porsche Werksteam, the racing colleagues stick together like peas and carrots: They don’t see each other as rivals, but as allies who can learn from each other and support each other. The racing drivers also begrudge each other victory and are happy for each other.
Team spirit is also paramount in development and production. Only when all the employees work together you can build a new Porsche smoothly. I think that’s really great, because it’s the same with Tom and me. Together we are an unbeatable team! We always help each other out, celebrate every success together and complement each other perfectly.
